MATIMOP-Galileo comity has made it’s final decisions.
Our Galileo-Radar proposal did not pass the final stage.
We respect their decision, and wish the winning proposals success.
I would like to thank all consortium members for their kind efforts.
Good News
The GR consortium will downsize and continue to pursue the
extraordinary market opportunity of the Galileo-Radar project.
I will use this opportunity to announce the recent successful results of trials made by Sonarion a valued GR consortium member. Sonarion is challenging the very difficult issue of identifying the GR user head and gaze orientation.
Precise head tracking is a key to a successful and rewarding user experience using our GR device. Sonarion is examining a novel algorithm that fuses 3 different sensors for head tracking. Optical, Inertial and magnetic, where each sensor compensates for errors made by the other sensors.
